Digital video content is all about listening to your audience. That’s why I use social media analytics tools to carefully analyze gathered data. Thanks to that I can tailor the video content to the audience needs in order to obtain wide organic posts reach.

By December 2024, I was shooting the videos mainly with my smartphone. The specific of social media enable that to some extent, as the content is consumed mainly with the smartphones.

Today I also use Cannon EOS 250 D Mirror Camera and the following lenses:
EFS 18-55mm and EFS 55 - 250mm. I also use DJI Drone for drone videos.

For video editing I use the following software: Filmora 14 , Final Cut Pro X,
Photoshop, Lightroom and Canva

Short interviews

JANUARY 2025

Short interviews are the video form much appreciated by Shannon AC target audience.

That’s why I pick them quite often to communicate important messages. For example,  interview with Karl Fitzmaurice about his running programme, COUCH TO 5K reached over 3.5K views on Facebook.

APRIL 2024

Green thinking and community spirit! These ethos work well on Social Media. This video was edited by me with amateur photos and videos that were sent to me by Shannon AC’s participants of Earth Day in Shannon.

This footage was sent forward to
EI Electronics social media. It also gained wide organic reach.

The pictures required post-production enhancement, due to extensive sun light.

Creative forms

MAY 2024

Here is the example of creative and dynamic video editing. This is an advert of Hell & Back Obstacle Course that we organized for members of Shannon Athletic Club.

The use of creative tools masked the cons of shooting with smartphone.

This video gained significant reach of 2.6 K of views, more wider that the original videos of H&B organisers.

Longer forms

APRIL 2024

Long video on Social Media is a risk as short forms are still setting trends. Also, the time to attract the viewer’s attention is getting shorter.

Nevertheless, on some occasion, the audience might appreciate the effort of 3 minutes long video. This one was created on the occasion of Community Games on Shannon AC. This footage reached 1.4K views.

Different events are the one of them.  They are great opportunities to showcase the unique atmosphere and excellence of people.
